Bill Edwards

Board Member

Bill Edwards has a deep history in the High Desert, where he has been a resident for 50 years. His family roots in this community run even deeper—his grandfather moved here in 1943 and raised his five sons and four daughters in this valley. Bill is blessed to be married to his high school sweetheart, Marianne, and together they have built a family with two sons and two daughters. Their ties to Excelsior Charter Schools are also strong, with his oldest child being an Excelsior alumnus.

For the past 21 years, Bill has dedicated his life to local pastoral and homeless ministries, serving individuals and families seeking life change and transformation. He previously worked at the Victor Valley Rescue Mission for 16 years, where he served those experiencing homelessness and hardship. Bill is now developing a new vocational training program to support recovery programs, equipping participants with practical skills that foster independence, stability, and long-term success.
