Family Support

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS SUPPORT FOR EXCELSIOR STUDENTS, STAFF, STUDENT-FAMILIES AND STAFF-FAMILIES.
Excelsior Charter Schools has partnered with Care Solace to help our students, staff members and their families find mental health providers and programs that offer:
- In person therapy
- Online therapy
- Hospitalization
- Residential inpatient treatment
- Outpatient treatment
- Detox centers
- Family Counseling
Call (888) 515-0595 or CLICK HERE.
Care Solace’s team is available 24/7 and can support you in whatever language you prefer. Your personal Care Concierge will research and make phone calls for you to quickly find a quality provider matched to your needs. They have thousands of resources that will accept your insurance, private or Medi-Cal or sliding scale options. Once they identify a provider matched to your needs, they will personally assist you with booking an appointment and check in to see if you are happy with that provider or support you in finding someone else.
With recent changes to SNAP and CalFresh benefits, some families may be receiving less food assistance than before. If you’re impacted, there are still free local resources available.

Call 211
If you are in immediate need of food assistance, please dial 2-1-1 from a phone and speak with someone about services available in your area (2-1-1 is a three-digit dialing code, similar to 4-1-1). Lines are open 24 hours a day. Most but not all areas provide 2-1-1 phone support.
Talk to a Food Bank
Reach out to your local food bank for a list of places you can get food in your area. Find your local food bank HERE.
Apply for CalFresh
CalFresh is a nutrition program that helps people buy food. If eligible, you will receive a debit card that can be used at most grocery stores. Learn more and apply online HERE. You can also contact your county CalFresh office by calling 1-877-847-3663.
